This weekend I finally had some time to work on my truck.
In the time that has been passed I decided to make the truck drivable. So I will be able to drive it inside the workshop before I take it apart. Will in the shop I'm able to work on it what ever the weather is.
So Yesterday I made a small bracket to be able to mount the clutch cylinder in place. A small piece has been broken of while dismounting it.
After this I it was time to mount the clutch cylinder back in place. Only to notice that when I dismounted the cylinder from the engine block a bolt has been broken off and there is now way to get access to remove the bolt. I was stuck. In order to get access to that bolt I would have to dismount the truck bed and the crane.
So I just started with that.
The wooden planks on the floor of the bed were mostly rotten so they came off pretty easy. The pins from the arms of the crane also let go easy.
So after a few hours the crane was mostly disassembled and the bed was mostly taken apart.
Today I started with removing the bolts that hold the frame of the bed to the frame of the truck.
Using my engine hoist and a lot of elbow grease I was able to remove the bed from the truck.
Under the bed and the frame there was an other frame which looked to be part of the frame on which the crane is mounted. That to was removed.
And next the Bumper was removed.
All these parts put a lot of weight in the scale. They will all be removed and a new truck bed will be made in the futere.
Well it will take me a few more days before the truck can be placed in the shop.
